Our Woodland

Trees felled for firewood are replaced by others growing from seed by natural regeneration or from small trees replanted. Your firewood is a renewable resource.

The logs are left to dry for a summer to reduce the moisture content..  Our aim is to get them to a moisture content of 20%.
